Day 1: 

Depart to Athens

Day 2: 

Flight arrives in Athens, bus transfer to hotel
Overnight stay in Athens at select hotel in the Plaka Region

Day 3:

Athens Hotel, free time to explore Acropolis and various sites throughout Athens

Day 4:

Athens Hotel, transportation and guided tour of Delphi with lunch provided.

Day 5: 

Early breakfast at the hotel
Transfer to Port of Piraeus by bus for departure on ferry leaving for Ios at 8AM
Ferry arrives in Port of Ios early afternoon
Group bus/van transfer to Paradise Hotel at Mylopotas Beach
Group check in
Dinner suggestion: eat at one of the local restaurants along the beach

Day 6:

Breakfast at Paradise hotel
Free Time - suggestion: relax and get to know the town of Chora in the morning hours, then relax in the afternoon on the beautiful Mylopotas Beach
Evening: enjoy dinner at one of the several conveniently located restaurants
Late night suggestion: enjoy refreshments at the many taverns in town

Day 7: 

Breakfast at Paradise
Suggestion: Beach Day – ask Panos to take you to a remote beach by short boat ride
Late afternoon cocktails at Harmony Restaurant (lie in a hammock and sip your favourite cold drink!) with BBQ dinner (included) and great music

Day 8: 

Breakfast at Paradise
Last day: beach, town, shopping, and/or water sports – it's your call!
Early evening cocktails at Paradise Hotel followed by "Farewell to IOS Friends BBQ" (included)

Day 9: 

Enjoy a morning swim in the warm waters of the Aegean Sea
Breakfast at Paradise
Check out of hotel and transfer to port for ferry to Santorini

ISLAND OF SANTORINI

Day 9 (Continued): 

approx. 1:00pm Ferry from Ios to Santorini
Arrival in Santorini 2:30pm approx. (be sure to be on deck for a spectacular view of this volcanic island!)
Group transfer from Port to Galini Hotel by bus climbing to the town of Fira, Santorini's capital (breathtaking bus trip that winds up the face of the caldera overlooking the harbour and cone of the volcano)
Check in at hotel (approx. 4:00pm)
Meet and greet our host and hostess, Lefteris and Lambrini, at courtesy cocktail reception at 6:00pm at the Galini Hotel rooftop patio
Unwind and enjoy Santorini's renowned sunset from our own balconies and terraces
Evening: enjoy dinner at one of several restaurants in Fira

Day 10:

Breakfast at Galini hotel
Day outing: (you will need comfortable walking shoes, bathing suit and towel, and a change of clothes with a warmer layer for evening but travel as light as possible)
walk down the donkey path to the cable car or take a donkey to the Old Port and board the Bella Aurora (time to be announced)
short sail and then hike on the volcano, Nea Kameni
back on board and short (10-minute) sail to outer island, Thirassia, for snacks, refreshments and a swim
sail out to entrance of island for view of Oia, home of Santorini's best sunsets, and full sail back to Old Port as the sun sets behind us
Evening: restaurant of your choice

Day 11:

Continental breakfast at Galini hotel
Day outing:
group transfer (bus) to the ruins of Akrotiri - private tour guide
afternoon enjoy Red Beach nearby (take a day pack with your bathing suit and towel)
tour and wine-tasting at a local winery
group transfer (bus) back at end of day
Evening: restaurant of your choice

Day 12:

Breakfast at the Galini hotel overlooking the caldera
Leisure time - suggestion:
explore island via scooter, car rental, or public bus: early morning start to Kamari Beach (enjoy the black sand beach and the shops and restaurants along the boardwalk)
explore other beaches, i.e., Perissa, Perivolos, Monolithas Beach
drive (ride) to Oia to take in the famous Santorini sunset
Evening: dinner at a restaurant of your choice

Day 13:

Breakfast at the Galini hotel
Museum Morning - walk down the donkey path to Fira and enjoy the breathtaking view along the caldera. In Fira discover the many museums all within walking distance i.e. the Volcanic Museum, the National Museum, the Gyzi Museum, Folklore Museum, and Fira's spectacular Cathedral.
Afternoon - explore the sights of Fira or take your car or scooter to drive around to some of the other quaint villages, beautiful beaches, or to ancient Thira
Evening: Farewell dinner at Aktaion Restaurant - owned by Vagelis, brother of our host, Lefteris (specialties of the house - stuffed lamb with wine leaves or stuffed mousakka)

Day 14: 

Check out of Hotel Galini and transfer to Santorini airport and flight to Athens with connecting flight back
