A Perfect Tour - France Tour
Below is the detailed itinerary for our escorted / guided France tours which includes visits to Paris, Reims in the Champaigne region, Beaune in Burgundy, Vezelay and Sancerre in the lower Loire Valley, and the city of Tours in the Loire Valley with it's many chateaux. Highlights include; the Eiffel tower, Notre Dame and Seine, Les Bateaux-Mouche tours, the Lourve, D'orsay, Champaigne tour, Hospice de Beaune, regional wine caves and markets and Chateaux's of the Loire Valley. We also provide custom modifications to our itinerary to include areas such as Normandy, Brittany, Provence, Cote d'Azur, the French Alpes and Pyrenees. Day 1:
Depart to Paris. Transfer by coach to our hotel in Paris. After check-in and a short rest, your host will conduct a half day walking tour.
Day 2:
After breakfast we will continue with walking tours. Around 7:00pm gathering at the Bâteaux Mouches for drinks followed by the dinner cruise on the Seine.
Day 3:
Breakfast and early departure by bus to the city of Reims in the Champagne region. Our first stop will be the Cathédrale Notre Dame, the site of the coronation of most of the Kings of France. After stopping for lunch at a local restaurant we will then head to the Pommery Champagne Estate for our selected tour and champagne tasting. To complete the day we then re-board our bus/van and head to the city of Beaune in Bourgogne (Burgundy) region to check into our hotel (3 nights).
Day 4:
After breakfast we will have free time to explore this beautiful city with a guided tour of the famous Hotel-Dieu / Hospice de Beaune.
Day 5:
Further touring of the charming city and free time to explore the various wine caves. Expertise will be provided by our oneologist. |

Day 6:
Breakfast and checkout of our hotel and bus transfer to the medieval town of Vezelay. The town of Vezelay is a charming medieval cluster, with the Basilica Sainte Madeleine as its most prominent feature. After the short visit and coffee break we continue on by bus to the town of Sancerre in the lower part of the Loire Valley. We check-in to our hotel in the early afternoon and are free to explore the town with its breathtaking panoramic views. Dinner will be in the hotel with wine selections. |

Day 7,8,9:
breakfast and checkout of our hotel with our bus following the more scenic route along the Loire River passing the towns of Gien, Sully, St. Benoit, Blois, the Château of Amboise, and on to the city of Tours. Our stay here in the lovely Central Hotel is for 3 nights so we can explore the many Châteaux and wine caves of the region. Over the three days we will visit and tour Chenonceaux, Chambord, Villandry, and Azay-le-Rideau. |

Day 10:
Breakfast at hotel, check out and coach department back to our hotel in Paris.

Breakfast at the hotel and early checkout for departure to Charles De Gaule airport (Paris) for our return flight. |
